Baltic Photonics Cluster - BPC
The Lithuanian Laser Association was established in 2004. Its main goals are, first, to promote the development of science, technology and research of lasers and light in Lithuania and, second, to encourage the competitiveness of Lithuanian laser industry.
Knowledge-based economy driven by the collaboration of industry, science and education is the key priority for Lithuania’s long-term development. Laser industry is publicly recognised as an important part of Lithuania’s economy - “Photonics and laser technologies” is one of the government approve priorities of Smart Specialization for 2014-2020.
